In real life, bad stuff happens and difficult situations don't get neatly wrapped up in a short amount of time. There is Hope in the short term and there is Hope in the long run. These are stories and thoughts on life, adoption, parenting, and Hope that is Eternal.

Background Music
Today our pastor titled his message If Life Had Background Music. He didn't pull any punches. Definitely worth hearing, if you haven't already. Click here to listen.
I appreciated how explicit, emotional and blunt Chris was. It's hard being a lone warrior. Didn't know about the back to back fighting and the buddy system used by the roman soilders. It's so easy to burn out and go into hiding. Time for me to crawl out from under my rock and fight some more.
