I finally replaced my sad little Metro. My "new" car is a '99 Saturn SL. It's not the prettiest car and there are a couple things that I want to fix or change. But it drives well, will be a good car for a few years, at a minimum, and was well within my budget. (Yea for not having a car payment!)
It has the things I really wanted: manual transmission, four doors, minimal work needed. It also has all the extra "features" that I used to wish for in the Metro: rear-window defrost, intermittent wiper settings, and A/C (for the short July/August timeframe when Colorado hits 100+ F).
