A couple days ago my son came out of the bathroom and I asked him to go back and wash his hands. He said, “I did, see?” and showed me his slightly wet hands.
I said, “No, you just ran them under water. Go back and use soap.”
“I used soap!”
“The water came on immediately after the toilet flushed. So, I know you did not use soap. Go back and wash your hands.”
“UGH. HOW COME YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO FIND OUT WHEN I DO STUFF?!!”
I’ve gotten this last line several times in the last few days. Try not to laugh!
