Square Root Day

Today I was listening to the radio and learned that today (3/3/09) is considered "Square Root Day". Apparently this nerdy celebration occurs on dates where the numeric values of the month, day, and last two digits of the year calculate out as follows:

month=day=sqrt(year)

or alternatively stated,

month*day=year, where the year is a perfect square and month=day.

Hope you got your celebrating in today because there won't be another Square Root Day until 4/4/16.

Oh my gosh, I've never heard of it, but when I woke up yesterday, I thought...hmmm...3/3/09? There's gotta be something to that!
