Snow Day...

Last night and today brought a pretty significant amount of snow to our area.  Much of today was spent inside, as a result.

I've been sitting here watching my 125 lb kid lose at tug-o-war repeatedly to the 30 lb dog.  He's giggling and she's panting hard but still wants to play.

I had a hard time deciding whether to harass him about losing to a girl or about losing to an animal that is 1/4 his weight.

I gave him a hard time about losing to an animal that is 1/4 his body weight.  He said, "I'll win next time."   And when he didn't win, he said, "She's really strong!" 

The dog clearly has a better understanding of leverage than the kid.
